RichardBOYS(Gosforth) Suddenly in hospital on 5th March 2019 aged 58 years. Professor Richard Boyes, Newcastle University. A dearly beloved son to Ann and Derek, loved brother of Christopher and brother-in-law to Helen and a dear uncle to Charlotte and Victoria. Richard will be hugely missed. Friends please meet for Funeral Service and Cremation at the West Road Crematorium, Newcastle on Thursday 21st March at 11:00am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital may be made at the Funeral Service. All welcome to Benwell Hill Cricket Club opposite the Crematorium afterwards. Enquiries to Newcastle Family Funeral Directors, 71-73 Great North Road, Gosforth. Tel. (0191) 2845400.

Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia: Taking time to remember someone we miss. Professor Richard Boys from University of Newcastle was an amazing statistician, huge fan of cricket, and a great friend & collaborator with BRAG (https://bragqut.wordpress.com/) and ACEMS at QUT.
